Less than 30 minutes from your “Les Lodges” gîte, you can revisit or discover the French Riviera and the Var with its naturist beaches.
Less than an hour away, you can visit the Maures and Estérel massifs, typical villages, Provencal markets, picturesque sites including the magnificent Canyon of Verdon and Sainte-Croix Lake, the Côtes de Provence wine estates, Saint-Tropez, Nice and Hyères-les-palmiers.

Set off on foot through the hills, as far as the “Saut du Capelan”, or by bike along the departmental road or green trails such as La Vigne à Vélo.

Just 700m away, discover the charming Provencal village of LA MOTTE. 5 kms away, try your hand at golf at Saint Endréol, unless you prefer the Thalasso. At 8 kms hang on to the water-ski lift for a few laps of the Lac du Rabinon. You can also visit the friendly villages of the hinterland, Callas and its oil mill, Bargemon and Claviers.

Choose from hiking, cycling throughout the region (where the pros train), mountain biking, tennis in the village or canoeing on the Argens at Roquebrune. You can also discover canyoning in the Verdon gorges. Then there’s horse-riding, paragliding, diving, boating and more…

20 km away, you can enjoy the beautiful Les Esclamandes beach at Saint-Aygulf, close to the Etangs de Villepey. A little further away, around 30 km, you can enjoy the small, easily accessible Gros Pin beach, opposite Saint-Tropez. In Ramatuelle, you can explore the famous Pampelonne beach, where 2 naturist beaches await you: the Neptune beach (private or mixed public) and the Cabane Bambou naturist beach. Also in Ramatuelle, from l’Escalet to Cap Taillat, the magnificent coast invites you to walk along the customs path of the Bonporteau naturist bay.
Discover the Var :
Tour the vineyards of the Côtes-de-Provence region, then visit Saint-Tropez and the surrounding villages of Ramatuelle, Gassin, Grimaud. Take a diversion to the hilltop village of Tourtour. You can’t miss the grandiose Verdon Canyon and the turquoise waters of Lake Sainte-Croix. You can also explore the forests and massifs of the Estérel and Maures, and the villages and markets of Provence. The Gallo-Roman town of Fréjus is also worth a visit, followed by Saint Raphaël at the gateway to the Estérel Massif. A day trip to Hyères-les-Palmiers and its golden islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Le Levant and many other sites in one of France’s most popular tourist areas is a must.
